Yes, that bug has been in TMU since the start. After a certain number of checkpoints or laps or time or something, it happens ^^

I really know nothing for sure, but noticed that these "bugs", "features" or what ever you want to call them, have usually started after someone has been overtaken with one lap or more... It can just be a coincidence but it appeared last Sunday exactly after that...

Has nothing to do with that, because on some servers occurred overtaking after 3-4 rounds ^^

I think that most time it happens after about 15-20 mins, but in fact i think more that it happens after 250 checkpoints, which is also the max size of the BestCheckpoints array in the Ranking values given by the dedicated to scripts.
Next time that you play more than 250 checkpoints with a script showing the cp number, try to think to look if it is really that or not
I nearly never saw it playing GPcoast, but we nearly never play more that 250 cp, while i often saw it in FET, on which more than 250 cp are often played.

It's hard to drive with TAB pressed but I tried to manage it. I haven't checked it right before position bug appeared but when I did, I saw 255 CPs on island (I might pass 5 CPs, don't remember) and 262 CPs on snow (don't remember but it felt like I passed just through couple of CPs after bug).
My nickname is a rebus...

A little bit distracting was yesterday the yellow cp times. I drove on the FET Server by GSN and had never problems with showing the cp times correct. And after switching on the race server, i had after the second round allways wrong cp times. Is there a possibility to fix this, because it is really distracting while racing when you never know if you need to push more or not.

haven't driven a FET5 match yet, but i remember those laptimes-bugs very well from the past four FETs. i don't know if i've even known the cause, actually, since i happen to remember that there is no problem showing them properly with only 12 laps.
since i've turn off dedi while driving, i mostly check how fast i'm going at certain cps through the track. but that's quite impossible with that bug.

Heh. Being new to FET, when I drove the R1 rally map, I was doing alright until I bugged the tunnel jump 4 times in a row... but then I was catching up and overtaking people but it kept me at 18th place.
That confused me and then when i started passing people and getting passed at the same time I had no clue what was happening.
It's really really distracting

I just made tests with Arkone (with the last dedicated, both linux and windows) :
- the yellow checks times disappear after 250 cps on a laps map
- once that 251cp limit has been reached, yellow checkpoints time are always bad (from the 1st lap!) until the server is stopped and restarted. Changing map or restarting the game change nothing
So on the island map the problem should have come when playing it with more than 16 laps.
I guess that the train server was not played with 24 laps ?
I see no way to fix it except with a new dedicated which would fix it.
Edit: I have sent a report about it to xbx.
